EDCT Foundation supports EDCT, the workforce and economic development asset of the San Bernardino Community College District (SBCCD), which is accountable for the attainment of two major priorities of the District Mission: (1) Upgrading and advancing the knowledge, skills, and ability levels of the regional workforce, and (2) Assisting regional business and industry to meet their goals through provision of highly responsive, convenient, and affordable workforce training solutions.
EDCT creates tailored programs that are aligned with regional industry trends that meet the human capital development needs of high growth industry sectors. SBCCD is an active partner with Inland Empire businesses and economic and workforce development stakeholders in expanding the workforce knowledge base to increase regional competitiveness and improve the economic prosperity of our residents.
Through its economic, professional, resource, and workforce development initiatives, EDCT delivers proven instructional services that yield high impact workforce improvements and replicable training models.
Through grant development and resource development, EDCT Foundation supports EDCT in helping to lift our community out of poverty and into the middle class through training initiatives and entrepreneurship. Working with government and community based organizations we strive to have a significant positive impact on our community.
